Re: numbers of intros

Linda and group.   Now more than ever would be a good time for the A.I.S.  to
get their library under way.  The computer technology would allow for a
comprehensive cataloging of all iris.  It would allow for breeding data in
A.I.S. holdings to be incorporated in the database.  Using this compiled
data, current and future irisarians would have an unprecedented tool to track
genetic trends.  Perhaps that elusive geranium red is out there.   The one I
want is a red/white Amoena.  I myself would like to study, and try some
 crosses that have already been done.  Using such a CD-ROM  database I could
look at them and see the results before ever picking up a shovel!!!
