When I mentioned running out of string tags for hanging on 'future
pods', Betty suggested making my own from pieces of plastic milk jugs &
yarn.  Walter suggested bits of trusty ol' Venetian blind slats.

Betty, I like your idea of reuseable numbered tags, but am having enough
iris-related bookkeeping problems already - I don't dare throw another
layer of 'code' into the works.

Any other suggestions for emergency home-made pod tags?
