SDB; mystery cultivars

Anyone familiar with Iris cultivars being sold by Northwest Horticulture?

http://northwesthorticulture.com/catdyn.asp

I tracked down the source after seeing some plants being sold in flower at
Home Depot a couple of weeks back. I thought the names were wrong as the
pictures on the tags didn't match the flowers, but as it turns out, the
pictures were wrong and the names were correct (at least as shown by
pictures I've been able to track down on line).

The ones they had in the Home Depot were 'New Bedford Lilac', 'Wood's
Light Blue', and 'Sapphire Gem'. There another there, a yellow SDB with a
dark signal spot, but I didn't pay attention to it and forget the name.
Anyway, I'm wondering if these names are registered, or just commercial
names being used by Northwest Horticulture (or perhaps some of both)?

When I finally found the Northwest Horticulture web site, I find a whole
series of "Wood's" names: 'Wood's Apricot', 'Wood's Bright Yellow',
'Wood's Dark Purple', 'Wood's Gold' (probably the yellow I saw at the Home
Depot), 'Wood's Light Yellow', 'Woods Pure White', and 'Wood's
White/Purple'. They also have something called "Iris siberica 'New
Hybrids'", and I. pallida 'Variegata'.

They are listed as "Dwarf Bearded Iris"; however, the three light blue
ones I saw at Home Depot all looked to be IB's to me, most notably 'Wood's
Light Blue', which looks like a light blue I. x germanica in form and
habit and was about 20 inches tall in a four inch and a one gallon pot
(likely taller in the ground).

Just curious if anyone knows more about these.

It was one of the 'New Bedford Lilac' that opened a flower with 8 falls
and 7 standards (didn't count styles and stamens). All the other flowers
were normal.

Thanks,

Dave
