Someone named hawaii50 on Gardenweb was going to try to grow some bearded iris rebloomers. Posted back in 2006. Maybe ask there? I'm not a gardenweb member, but thought I vaguely remembered someone wanting to experiment with growing bearded iris there. Not sure if this is the same person.

Just found a follow up! 2008
< I have only a few varieties of bearded iris, but by far the best grower is Pure As Gold, which blooms several times a year and also has a beautiful flower.>

No idea what elevation this person is, so perhaps there are enough hours below 45oF to give the necessary chilling.

I found another post by hawaii50 in 2007 that says:
<Some reblooming bearded iris that I planted a few months ago have bloomed for me in Hawaii. These are Pure As Gold, Feedback, Clarence, and Olympic Return. Golden Immortal has bloomed twice. I hope that rebloomers don't have the genetic trigger requiring cold weather to bloom.>

Schreiner's webpage says they won't sell irises in south Florida, Hawaii or Puerto Rico <We DO NOT ship IRIS to these locations, because we cannot guarantee their success in these locations. As a general guideline, we do not guarantee our Iris in those areas of Florida with ZIP codes beginning with 328-- (Orlando and south).>
