Melanie, I totally agree with the above, as long as the ownership,
copyright and profit intent are stated with the initial offering. To
freely share something regarding a hobby on the internet and then at a
later date come back and try to enforce payment and/or other action may
be questionable. The copyright intent and profit motive should be clearly
stated each and every time a message or photo is posted if that is the
intent. There is the legal issue, but what about the courtesy issue among
internet iris friends? There are a lot of things that happen to good
hearted simple people who just don't realize the traps that are set for
them and it is perfectly legal.
