Re: REF: copyright theft


When you are talking about artists, writers, publishers, musicians, etc. you
are referring to work produced that takes specific skills, effort and/or 
training.

I really can't see digital photos shared through groups falling in the 
same category.

I can only speak for myself, but the photos I have taken are more of the 
result of the
subject I have and the camera I use than any specific skills and 
consequently, I don't
expect payment for any image used.  I have been asked and have given 
permission to
commerical sources to use my photos and I certainly don't expect payment 
for something
that takes me a couple of minutes to do.

If I expected payment for a photo, I also wouldn't share it on the 
internet and I agree
with Char and Dave on this.
