I have moved other plants in summer, and usually have pretty good luck
if I keep them watered and protected from the sun for a couple of weeks.
I have used floating row covers, and recently I set a plastic lawn chair
over a transplant (bought on sale at the gardent center) to provide
shade during the middle of the day. Dicentras seem pretty tough, but why
don't you shade it for a while and wait for cooler weather to arrive
before moving it.
