Re: Tour day is over/ blue geranium

Hello Cheryl,
Congratulations on the successful tour... never any real doubt ... was
there? Wish you were a bit closer so I could have dropped by. Those things
are exhausting emotionally, but sure do get a bod to clean and spiffy thing
up in the garden;-) Certainly motivates us around here about once a month or
so for groups, several times a week for smaller groups and individuals.
I have a rather tall, stiffly upright blue blooming geranium I received
as "Johnson's Blue". I have tried to order it wholesale several times and
end up with a much smaller floppy version that is definitely not what I have
here. Looks a bit like a small shrub at well over 2 feet in height. Reblooms
if cut back. Seeds about a bit and has thrown two alba forms in the garden
now. Since I can not order starts I am working on dividing and propagating
mine. Color of the blooms are more lavender-violet with darker veins in the
petals, to my eyes.
Have you sent photos to Marge of your garden for posting? Do not
remember seeing you listed in the past.
