    I have not tried to divide or take cuttings from Baptisia, perhaps
someone else would have the answer to this one. Seeds are not all that hard
to germinate. Simply sow in posts and place in an open coldframe to winter
over. They will germinate next spring. They do need the warm, cold, warm
process. Be a while before you see a bloom on these. They become rather
large plants and take a while to mature. Three to four years from
germination to bloom.
