Roots and Rhizomes

Bill and others:

Two people I work with received the catalog within the last week, too.
They were both wondering about the company because it seemed pretty decent.
No doctored up pictures with unnatural colors, a few unusual varieties
amongst the diverse stock, reasonable prices. I found myself drawn to it
because the catalog is so straight foward -- no unreasonable claims or
verbose descriptions that WWF leans toward. Shipping costs are really low,
too.

I'm willing to order a couple of things to see what I'll get (no more than
$10-20 worth). Any company that puts out so pleasing a layout with has
tweaked my curiosity. What does everyone else think?

By the way, what's the criteria for 1999's best garden catalog? If it's
pictures, the award goes to White Flower. If it's selection or pricing,
why, I'd have to go elsewhere! Does anyone have a recent catalog for Busse
Gardens? I'm desperately trying to call them for a new catalog. Their
stock is very good, but not as diverse as Heronswood.
