Mike,
Prevention is the best cure. I will use rootshield next year in an
effort to prevent the same problem. For now my other to plants are doing
fine. In fact, I was able to save a portion of my plant that was hit by the
wilt. I removed the infected tissue and fortunately as the weather
conditions improved (i.e. dried out) so did my plant. All of the rain we
have had this summer is the suspected cause of the the fusarium wilt(fungus).
