Paul: I've used these in the past, they do work pretty well (although i remember
them costing $50.00) they worked well at turning the water on and off whenever
you programmed them to.
i.e. day of the week and at what times to turn on and off, however i lost two of
them because the got wet and ruined the electronics in them.
so if you can keep them dry i think they'll be o.k.?
