Dave, thanks for the comeback. Always trying to expand my knowledge on
growing these fruits. So this year I'll break out the tape and measure
the secondaries. On the other hand, I grew a 902 lb pumpkin in 200 sq.
ft. , and that includes some vines past the pumpkin. This year I've
expanded the patch to 300 sq. ft. Hopefully, I'll get a 1350 lb beast.
This year I was hoping to pollinate by June 25th. Short growing season
here in Northern Utah. Our weigh-off is Sept. 25th. Been a cold
spring, and have yet to pollinate. Again, thanks for the info.
