I have only one hand now so my typing is real slow...............
I get concave bottoms and I think that it is because that part off the
pumpkin has to grow an go somewhere....like a reverse curve.........all
this is speculation................sand is what i use but its more work
than styrofoam........ i use sand as it has always worked for me...and am
reluctant to change.......MB
