This posting interests me. I plant my sibs a little deep... maybe 1-1/2 -
2 inches. Eventually after some years they seem to 'ride up' with rhizomes
growing on top of rhizomes. When I dug up my huge (and eventually bloom
blind) Caesar's Brother it had done this, and I wonder if the fact that the
roots were not really covered in the soil any longer accounted for their
lack of bloom. Growth remained extremely healthy, however.
My question is, when you say 'deep,' just how deep do you mean?
