Re: Favorite groundcovers?

I use Epilobium septentrionale. It used to be Zauschneria septentrionalis, and
has a common name of Humboldt County Fuschia. It dies back a bit in winter, but
comes out bright green early in the spring, turns silvery gray, and had scarlet
flowers in August-September. It spreads easily but I don't find it invasive. It
never gets higher than 6 inches and coexists well with Tritileias, Calochortus,
etc.

I'm also experimenting with a Polygonum paronychia. However, it has only been in
the garden for about 5 months, and I'm not sure how well it will work.

Then there is always Prunella vulgaris ...
