RE: Surprise! You're dinner

I would not be surprised to find that "lamb & rice" dog foods are really
mutton and rice. Most Americans don't even like lamb, and mutton
conjures up vague ideas of gamey-tasting meat you eat when everything
else is rationed. We've never had it either, when ours start getting a
bit past middle age we sell them. Once they've been around for a while
we don't like the idea of eating them. We're not attached to them really
but...we do feel differently about them than we do the lambs.

In part because they're all grass fed. What I don't understand is why
it's so difficult to find mutton.
